Steep Rock Beach Park is an independently operated non-profit natural Beach & Family Campground administered by a volunteer Board of Directors with on-site Management to see to your daily camping needs.
Development is on-going. Donations of cash, goods & materials or services are gratefully accepted. Receipts for Tax purposes may be issued upon request by the Rural Municipality of Grahamdale.
Steep Rock Beach Park is a Family Campground & may not be suitable for some campers. Our families do not appreciate being kept awake by pounding music or partying campers hooting & hollering and shouting obscenities in the middle of the night. Thank You for your consideration when booking at our campground.
THERE IS NO OVERFLOW CAMPING! TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT AT THE GATE ON BUSY WEEKENDS, PLEASE CALL FOR A RESERVATION.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE BOOKING
- Campers must be 18 years of age to register for a campsite. Vehicle descriptions & licence plate numbers must be listed on the reservation invoice.
- Registered campers will be held accountable for the actions of their family members, guests or visitors.
- Check-in is any time after 2pm the day of arrival & check-out is any time before 12pm (noon) the day of departure. Please check-out in a timely manner so in-coming campers are not inconvenienced.
- "Quiet Time" is 11pm-8am.
- All family members, guests or visitors not registered at your campsite or a campsite of their own are requested to vacate the Campground by 11pm.
- Vehicular traffic is discouraged at all times and is strictly prohibited during "Quiet Time" - please walk or bike.
- All vehicles entering the Park (including ATVs & golf carts) must pay a $2 admission at the gates or purchase a seasonal Access Card. One Access Card for the duration of stay is included with your camping fees. Additional Access Cards may be purchased at $3 per day or $20 per season (plus GST). Provincial Park Passes are not valid.
- Alcoholic beverages are allowed within your registered campsite only - no wandering around the Campground with open liquor. No glass bottles allowed - please bring aluminum or plastic.
- Pets are welcome - must be kept quiet, picked up after & leashed or caged at all times. Not allowed on the beach front, in the playground, in the restaurant or on the deck, or in any of the other facilities. Pets are allowed in the lake on the public road allowance on either side of the campground.
- Boat Launch & Dock - FREE launch & use of public dock for loading & unloading or pay the mooring fee at the Park Office if leaving watercraft in water.
- Sewer Dump - $5 dump station fee or $15 camper direct pump-out fee.
- Zero tolerance policy in place. Infractions subject to eviction & prosecution as well as $100 - $1,000 fine.
Site Capacity:
- Limit of 4 persons or 2 adults w/ minor children.
- 1 RV / camping unit or 2 sleeping tents.
- 1 dining tent (not to be used for sleeping).
- 1 vehicle - ATVs & golf carts are classed as vehicles.
- Extra charges apply over stated limits: $3 per person (maximum of 6 persons per site), $3 per tent & $3 per vehicle.
Group Camping:
OVERFLOW CAMPING IS NOT AVAILABLE.
GROUP CAMPING IS AVAILABLE ANYTIME TO LARGER GROUPS ONLY - PLEASE CALL TO ENQUIRE ABOUT RESERVING SPACE.
- Open grassed area backed against bush, unserviced (no electrical or water hookup) with no picnic tables or fire-pits provided.
- Keep group condensed & park vehicles in an orderly fashion.
- No open fires permitted - bring a BBQ or fire-pit with you.
- DO NOT REMOVE PICNIC TABLES OR FIRE-PITS FROM CAMPSITES.
Per night:
- $3 per person (4 yrs & under FREE).
- $3 per sleeping tent & $3 per dining tent.
- $3 per vehicle.
Payment Options:
- Cash, Money Order, Interac, Visa, Mastercard or American Express.
- TelPay (prepayment only) if you bank at a Credit Union (an account number would be assigned when reserving).
- Absolutely NO cheques.
Reservations & Cancellations:
- Reservations are welcome year-round - only prepaid reservations are accepted.
- Visa, Mastercard or American Express accepted over the phone. TelPay may also be an option - please ask.
- Long weekend reservations are a minimum of 3 nights (includes the weekend closest to July 1st).
- Cancellation fee of 1 nights stay (per week or portion thereof of reserved site or cabin) if notice received 24 hours in advance of your arrival date (i.e. Thursday 2pm for Friday) - no refund for cancellations received later than 2pm the day prior to your arrival date. Refunds will be credited to your card less applicable fees.
- If you intend to arrive late, please call to make arrangements to hold your reservation. When no call is received, reservations will be held until 12pm (noon) the day after your expected arrival before cancellation.
- No refunds will be issued for late arrivals, non-arrivals or early departures.

- Boat dock or launch requirements.
- Bringing ATVs - how many.
- Bringing pets - how many & what kind.
- Any personal info concerning mobility, sight, hearing or such other challanges someone in your party may face.
- $100 CLUB Member Card registered name & number.
- Credit card number, expiry date & personal 3-digit number sequence on back of credit card.
THE BASIC CHARGE FOR THE CAMPSITE OR CABIN FOR THE TOTAL NUMBER OF NIGHTS STAY WILL BE PUT THRU ON YOUR CREDIT CARD AT TIME OF RESERVATION. EXTRA FEES (IF APPLICABLE) & $100 CLUB VALUE CARD DISCOUNTS (IF CARD IS PRESENTED) WILL BE CHARGED OR CREDITED UPON REGISTRATION.
